Well, ok... It took a bit, but I was able to remove the "next blog" link. Hurray! For those having problems with that, I truly recommend using the video.
I spent some time looking at several different styles of blogs. I really liked this blog - http://learningismessy.com/blog/ It's a 4th grade class, where the students do their own posts. The style of this blog - http://missbakersbiologyclass.com/blog/ - was quite impressive, taking student work to a new level. I read through some of this blog - http://blog.mrmeyer.com/?p=133 - because of his provocative statement about not assigning homework.
I've been thinking how I might use blogging in my classroom. One of the things that I have students do is write in their math journals. I could see this being a tool where students could do on-line journaling.
